Disney Magic

Most kids dream of visiting Walt Disney World Resort. I experienced the ‘Disney Pixiedust’ on many occasions before Disney decided that all printed collateral was to be produced in the US. 

Our brief was to sell Disney to UK visitors. This meant the right tone of voice without losing the magic, and explaining the difference between Walt Disney World Resort in Florida and Disneyland in California. Walt Disney World Resort covers an area of 44 sq miles – a vast magical space with not just the Magic Kingdom theme park but also Epcot, Disneys Hollywood Studios, Disneys Animal Kingdom, numerous themed hotels and 5 championship golf courses. 

Working with Disney I learned the intricacies of nomenclature and also got to art direct Mickey himself for the inaugural cover of the first ever Disney Travel Company brochure.
